With a special near zone at the top of the lens, this design allows for near focus while looking up as well as down. Originally designed with pilots in mind, this design is a great lens for other specialists and tradesmen who have needs a “normal” lens design cannot fulfill. It is also a great design for DIY-ers, hobbyists, and tinkerers.

Our process is proprietary and unique to our Obsidian Mirror collection. Unlike many mirror coatings made using a ‘sputtering’ technique or simple metallic layers, our uniform stacks provide unmatched quality. Each of our 24 mirrors has our proprietary top layer for strength, durability, and easy cleaning.
